We are the Division of Production Management at the University of St.Gallen (HSG), one of the oldest business schools worldwide.
The University was founded in 1898 and ranked as #1 among business schools in the German-speaking area (Financial Times 2008 & Handelsblatt 2014). It consists of 40 mostly autonomous institutes, chairs and research centres in the field of Business, Economy and Law. About 8,020 students are educated and more than 800 researchers and 93 professors are employed at the University of St.Gallen.

By transferring scientific knowledge into real live solution, the benchmarking centre transfers adequate know-how efficiently into an organisation. The benchmarking centre identifies successful practice organisations and operationalises through the cooperation of practitioners and academics scientific solutions.
